Sedron is made up of dreamers, innovators, and doers. If we like an idea, we try it. We make modifications and continuously improve, always searching for a better way. Our culture of a startup and the capabilities of a big company allow us to enact our ideas swiftly. Mistakes are not feared; they’re learned from. We move fast and with purpose.
OWN YOUR CAREER PATH
Our teams are small, highly talented and multi-disciplinary. We don’t believe in rigid roles that might pigeon-hole our team members and limit their abilities. We believe our employees excel when they are doing the things they want to be doing. We encourage individuals to speak up about what type of work and projects they are most drawn to, and we do our best to ensure that they are well-matched to their talents and interests.
ORG STRUCTURE
The organizational structure has few tiers, such that there aren’t 10 managers separating our engineers from our CEO. In fact, our CEO is an engineer himself and instead of making decisions from an ivory tower, it’s likely that he will sit in on your next design review. This creates a culture where company management and engineering are closely in-sync, rather than being plagued by an “us vs. them” mentality.
COLLABORATION
We believe in collaboration and sharing of knowledge. It’s an environment in which you can be honest about what you don’t know, and those that do know will explain it to you without condescension—because we get that on some other topic in the future, these roles might be reversed. It’s important to us that we enjoy the people we work with (we spend a lot of time together after all). We’re in this thing together. Individually we may not have all the answers, but together we build solutions.
